grateful
Today I'm grateful for:
-I got through my work out during Beckham's nap. I even got a shower after.
-I successfully went grocery shopping with both kiddos and there were no melt downs between all three of us.
-I had no way of finding the Thrift Store on base through "online maps" and I didn't know where to go to get a map of the base so I drove for a little bit and hoped I'd find it. When I was about to give up there was a tiny white sign staked in the ground saying "Thrift Store" --->. I followed the signs til I found it. Which was totally random because it's not like the Thrift Store is the only place on base that deserves a sign staked to the ground. After all Wright Patterson AFB is one of the largest in the country. It was closed when I got there but at least I found it and know when I'm allowed to drop stuff off now. (For all you UT D.I. people, don't take that place for granted when wanting to get rid of stuff)
-I had a cup of Choffy. It was sooooo delicious. And soothing. And reminds me of Boston. And my good friends there. Miss you.
-Brian started his first day of official school today. (instead of the refresher courses) Some days he doesn't have to be to class til 10. So I may have slept in this morning.
-The air is starting to get just chilly enough to wear my favorite wardrobe. Fall clothes!
-I ordered a piece of jewelry to help motivate me. More on that later :)
-I got to park in the garage today because the storage people came to get our storage that has been sitting in the garage for a month. They showed up by surprise, hopefully they weren't crooks and just drove off with my stuff. Ha. Although if they really want a wheelchair, baby clothes, books, etc.. then they must be in more need then me.
-I finally got around to finishing some decorating projects.
-I read my scriptures this morning. I have found it's better for me if I read them in the morning then at night. It helps set my day up for success mentally and spiritually.
There is much more to be grateful for today, but motherhood is calling. And I'm grateful for that too.
